The Founder
I am John Michael Collins, the owner of Collins Electric. My journey in the electrical field began in the summer of 1999, right after graduating from high school. Building upon my experience in the construction trades alongside my father, Harry, who is a General Contractor, I embarked on my career as an apprentice with a local electrical contractor.
Through four years of dedicated work and study, I attained the status of a Journeyman Electrician. Continuously striving for growth, I achieved the title of Master Electrician and obtained my Electrical Contractor's license by the age of 26.
Over the years, I have been involved in various projects, ranging from simple repairs to substantial endeavors such as working at Disney's MGM theme park, overseeing a major renovation at Orlando's International Airport, serving as a foreman on Denver's 911 Call Center, and wiring numerous homes and businesses across the Greater Denver area, Michigan, and Florida.
Since the establishment of Collins Electric in 2013, my business has thrived in wiring homes, offices, stores, and restaurants. My unwavering commitment lies in delivering the utmost quality and excellent customer service to my clients.
